Fundraising Strategist

L’Arche Australia is looking for an enthusiastic person to build on its successful direct mail fund-raising programs and upcoming opportunities associated with World Youth Day 2008.

The person, experienced or skilled in Fundraising, would be invited to join the Board, which meets three times a year, and work closely with the Chairperson to build the profile and fundraising capability of L’Arche Australia. 

The role would require a commitment of about 4 hours per month for a term of one year, ongoing.  The person could be located anywhere in Australia - L'Arche is a national organisation.

Newsletter Editor

L’Arche Australia is looking for an enthusiastic person to coordinate and edit its quarterly newsletter.  While some experience in the production of newsletters would be ideal, strong communications skills are all that are required.

The newsletter editor would be responsible for editing and collating the stories and materials provided by the five communities of L’Arche Australia.  The editor would also coordinate the printing and distribution of the newsletter with a contracted mailing house.

The role would require a commitment of about 12 hours per quarter for a term of one year, ongoing.  The person could be located anywhere in Australia - L'Arche is a national organisation.

Both of these tasks are currently undertaken by the Board Chairperson, who would work closely with the newsletter editor to assist them in this new role.
