Canberra July 9 -13

L'Arche Australia warmly welcomes are all members of L'Arche and Faith and Light to join us in Canberra as we prepare for World Youth Day 2008. The gathering in Canberra will be fives days celebration, reflection, sightseeing and joining in the Days in the Diocese activities of the Archdiocese of Canberra and Goulburn (with around 5000 other international visitors!). In Sydney L'Arche will be animating large gatherings of pilgrims at Catechesis and the Youth Festival with music, drama and talks.

There is only space for 150 participants at the Canberra Gathering so book soon!

Sydney July 14 - 20

World Youth Day is being held in Sydney from 15th – 20th July 2008. If you wish to attend World Youth Day you will need to register with the World Youth Day office. L’Arche and Faith & Light have registered a Group. Each pilgrim will need to register for Sydney individually by going to www.wyd2008.org.

The WYD homepage has a "register now" button. Once you have put in your personal details - you will be invited to put in the Group Number. Our group number is 5754.

If you have already registered (as part of a parish group for instance) then we need you to go back into your registration form to the Package section and it will ask who you wish to be linked with - you would then enter 5754. This means that you will be allocated to join our L'Arche & Faith & Light catechesis sessions.

If you are going to be accommodated by the L'Arche Sydney network you will register for package B. If you are using WYD accommodation then it is package A.

Please let us know which package you have decided to take so that we can organise our L'Arche billeting arrangements in Sydney.
