Planning your own Share a Meal event is simple, all you need to do is choose a time, invite your guests and ask them to join you and make a donation to L’Arche Australia.

We all know that one of our greatest pleasures in life is being together, sitting at table enjoying pleasant food, telling stories, sharing laughter and joyfulness of life.
Sharing a Meal is a fantastic way to create connections, build relationships and a sense of community… and that is what we would love you to do for L’Arche in Australia.
Invite your household, your family, your friends, your neighbours over the fence, for a “barbie que” a pizza night, even a tea and scones day to celebrate The Festival of the Boot.
Yes, it is tough during these most difficult days of lockdown, but as we know thanks to Toyota, “When the going gets tough, the tough get going.”
SO, ZOOM IT!!
If you are in lockdown, Zoom it. If your household, family, or friends don’t want to get up off the couch, Zoom it. If anyone in your community is stuck at home Zoom it.Even better, if you want to celebrate the Festival of the Boot with our L’Arche Communities in Adelaide, Alice Springs, Bendigo, Brisbane, Canberra, Hobart, Melbourne, Perth, and Shepparton, then Zoom it.
It doesn’t need to be too much work for you, perhaps you can hold your Share a Meal over morning tea, during a staff meeting or at lunch. It really couldn’t be easier, and it will be a lovely experience for you and your guests.
