We join the community of L’Arche Hobart – Beni-Abbes and the Archdiocese of Hobart in grief and gratitude for the life and times of Fr Terry Yard. A foundation member of the community, Fr Terry passed away on Tuesday 28th February.

In 2011 Fr Terry was inducted into St Virgil’s College Heritage Roll of Honour with recognition for ” Long serving priest of the Archdiocese and founding member of the L’Arche Community in Tasmania”

Concelebrated Mass of Christian Burial for the late Father Terence Gilbert Yard will be offered at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Goderich Street, Deloraine, on Friday (8th March 2024) at 11.30am, after which interment will take place in the Deloraine Lawn Cemetery, Deloraine at 1.00pm approx.
